Street Young Peoples Centre ( formerly Street Youth Club)
Street Young Peoples Centre is available as a drop in for advice, information and support provision for those aged between 16 and 25 who have housing issues, are homeless or are about to become homeless. Young people can also be referred by our partner agencies, including Strode College (Student Support).
It is open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30 pm.
A nurse giving confidential and free sexual health advice is available during term time. From Autumn 2014 this will be on a Thursdays 12pm to 2pm term time only. The service includes: a variety of contraceptive methods (including emergency), pregnancy testing, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and advice on unintended pregnancy. This service is available for young people up to the age of 25.
During term time there is a midday youth club and cafe open, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays, 12.00 – 2.00 for young people up to the age of 25
